Hi,
I’m currently trading at a stall in the UK and urgently need Tap to Pay on my iPhone 13 Pro (iOS 16.2).
My Square account works fine with Tap to Pay on another device, but on this iPhone it does not appear at all in the settings.
What I’ve already checked:
Signed in with email (not device code)
Passcode enabled
Region: United Kingdom
Date/time: Set automatically
Wallet not blocked (no Screen Time restrictions)
Developer Mode not active
Reinstalled Square Point of Sale app
Using latest app version from the UK App Store
I’m using the exact same account that works on another phone, so it seems this iPhone has not been properly enabled by Square’s backend.
Please help urgently — I need to take contactless payments today.

@JayBen21 Not sure if this is iPhone as I use android, but make sure the NFC is turned on.
Thank you for your help @Donnie-M, but I think on Iphone, NFC is automatically turned on.
Hey @JayBen21 I know I'm late to the party on this, but did you get it running?
You do need to go into setting for that device (in the app) and turn on Tap To Pay even if it's already been enabled on the account.

No, I still haven't get it running, but the problem is I cannot see the option Tap To Pay in the app on the phone. I have enabled it on the website, and it works on my other phone, so I do not know why it is not working.
Just want to jump in quickly! It looks like you've ran through pretty much all the settings & troubleshooting steps we've recommended. However, I notice you mentioned the current iOS you're using is 16.2. It's quite an old iOS version. When you have a moment, could you try updating the iOS and then check if you can enable Tap to Pay?
