Tsp743 Ethernet LAN printer slow with new iPad new iOS 12.1.4

Old iOS iPad with old iOS 10 working fast printing receipt on TSP743ii with LAN. Now with iOS 12.1.4 it takes forever to print receipt. Help!  Thank you

I'm surprised it is even working as it doesn't appear to be on the list of supported printers.

Currently, we have not received any reports of issues with iOS 12.1.4. @VanKalkerFarms pointed out that this receipt printer isn't officially supported.
