Trying to Identify a Charge on My Unverified Square Account

Hi, AUD 20 was deducted from my account even though I am not able to use the Square app because my ID verification has not been accepted. I already emailed support before and also submitted a dispute request.

We're unable to investigate specific payments here on the Community platform due to privacy and security limitations, but there are a few things you can check to help identify the charge:

Square Subscriptions: To confirm whether you’ve subscribed to any paid Square plans, head to your Square Dashboard > SettingsAccount & Settings > Pricing & Subscriptions.

From there, you’ll be able to view and manage any active subscriptions, including cancelling, pausing, or downgrading to a free plan.

Purchases from Square Sellers: If nothing appears under subscriptions, it’s possible the charge is from a purchase made at a business that uses Square to process payments. In this case, your bank statement will typically show something like: SQ* Business Name, e.g. SQ* SWEET DOZEN BAKERY.

These are the two most common reasons for Square-related charges.
