Transfers seems wrong

Hi! So I recently was looking at my transfers and realized the math isn’t right?!

For example, this was my last transfer

total collected - $1,117.26

fees - $28.66

transfer $796.88

now I do use square savings so if that’s deducted from the total collect it would be 10% of that which is, let’s round up $112

well $1,117.26 - $112 - $28.66 = $976

I’m missing $180?!

Hey @CANVAShair.  A few things come to mind.  First Square Savings is calculated on total card volume processed, which also includes sales taxes and tips.  Also, if you have an active Square Loan that daily repayment percentage is ALSO applied to total card volume, including sales taxes and tips.

If you want to see a breakdown of how your transfer/deposit was calculated, head to your online dashboard > Balance > Select your location.  Scroll down to the section “Balance overview.” Go to the date you want to see.

Here you can expand the “Payment processing” line which will show you how much you did in card processing volume (including sales taxes and tips), with lines under it showing how much you paid in fees, loan repayments and how much was transferred to your savings account.

You can also expand the “Transfers” section which will show you the transfers you did that day, including any immediate or manual transfers you did besides the automatic one done at the end of the day.

Screen shot below, with my numbers marked out.

I hope that helps.
