Transfer to wrong bank

I haven’t used square for a while and yesterday a sale came via square.

 

today the balance was transferred to my bank, however the bank account linked to my square account is an old one which I don’t have access to any more.

 

is there anything I can do?

Hi @Vince7 - thanks for letting us know.

 

If the bank account is closed, the transfer should revert to Square in around seven business days. Once our team locate it, we'll be able to credit your account. 

 

If you haven't done so already, please add your new bank account details in Account & Settings. Once that's verified in around 4 business days and enough time has passed for the transfer to come back to us, please give our support team a call on 0800 - 098 8008, 9AM- 5PM, Mon-Fri and they can begin the process.
