Transactions hitting guests accounts late

I have two restaurants on different accounts. Today I received a call from a guest from Restaurant 1 mad that we double charged her only to find that it was actually from when she was there on 10.17.25 finally  going through to her bank. So she thought we were up to something. I explained that it was just delayed for some reason. 

 

60 mins later I received a call from a customer at restaurant 2 saying that she just got a notification  from her bank that a transaction just went through but she was not there today. I asked her when she was there. She said 10.17.25. I explained that there must have been a delay and apologized. 

 

Was there an issue with the square servers settling on 10.17?
