Transaction ID Information Not Visible

Is there a way to show the full transaction ID information on the transactions page so I can receive these in our payments in Quickbooks?  I know we can generate a CSV report that shows this but would prefer it be readily visible, like PayPal has in their custom view settings.

You can create a Custom Report but as far as I know you can not see the Transacation ID but the Payment Id is shown for the 1st four characters on the Receipt and can be matched with Transaction downloads.  I do not belive you can see the Transaction ID any place but the csv downloads.

When I used QuickBooks Desktop, I downloaded my Transactions Details and Items CSV files.   I used Power Query to merge these together and output a csv file that was merged to be entered into Quickbooks as a Sales Receipt.   In Quickbooks I created a Special View and changed the Memo to display the Deposit ID, The Sales Receipt ID showed the Payment ID, and then another field I showed the Transaction ID.   These were all from that one merged csv file to be imported to Quickbooks Desktop by a program calle Transaction Pro Importer.  They also have a version for Quickbooks Online, but I never used it and it will work with any type csv file.

So if you sell on Amazon, Etsy, Square, Other websites, this one program can upload from any of these if they export a csv file.

I used this program for both  Square and my online store (not through Square) to import each sale.  Each showed Where the sale was made Customer Online or Square for example or i could track the customer if I wanted.  The transaction or sales order number as assigned by Square or my online store.  Payment type, date, shipped date......

If I were you I would checkout Transaction Pro Importer by Right Networks I believe, and Hector Garcia Videos on youtube on how TPI and Quickbooks online works together for csv files.

Below is an image of my Sales Receipt in Buickbooks Desktop for a Square for Retail POS sale from the merged 2 csv files :

The payment was by a Discover Card, the Sales No is the Recipt number or Transaction ID, Payment ID is Squares Payment ID, and  I downloaded the CSV files after the deposit was initiated so I can have the Deposit ID as the Memo.  Customer is Square, so I know which program to look in and then Square shows the customer if available. I also have a line item of Merchant Fees to show Squares processing fee for this transaction. I also have this showing the Sales tax in the line Items area so the Tax is not rounded in Quickbooks which is also why PA Sales Tax is 0.00 instead of $3.78 for this transaction.  This is what you should be able to do with TPI for the QBonline software for importing to QBO I would think, or something similar.

I know you wanted this all inside Square but I do not think that is possible yet.  I am just showing it is possible with outside software and how that does work and look like.
