Tips from Online Sales do not show up on Sales Summarry until after the end of the day

I have two locations which use the Square Register in the stores with multiple iPad KDS and we use Square's Online Store.

 

We have reached out to Square support and opened a ticket, I just wanted this recorded for the community in case I, or another member, have a solution.

 

Since July 1st, 2022 the tips earned from online sales are not showing up in the Sales Report that we print from the Square Register at the end of the day to payout tips to employees.  The sale and the tax show up, just not the tips.

 

At first we thought we weren't marking the Online Orders picked up and that was causing it, and we weren't great at marking them.  This did not prove to be the case as we now check all Online Orders are cleared prior to closing the drawer.

 

Next step I will verify that when an Online Order comes in the Square Register Sales Report matches the Dashboard Sales Summary.

You mentioned that you've got a few different locations, so it might be possible that you're seeing your sales summary for one location only, instead of the overall business and online orders.
