I have a store general manager who works by herself some days. She is Salary in Payroll and tip INeligible. We just turned on tipping for our hourly employees and when we use her POS code to log in, it allows the customer to tip.
When hourly employees are working with her, we want customer to be able to tip so the hourly employees will receive the money.
When the GM is working alone and if a customer tips, what happens to that money in the payroll system? Thanks
