Terminal Sound notification idea

Can I please suggest an idea for Terminal.  I run a busy espresso bar on my own and rely on customers to use the stand and tap the terminal.  At the moment terminal does a long beep when a phone or card connects to the terminal but that has nothing to do with the Approved or Declined result.  Customers hear the beep and leave before any notification of the transaction.  I often miss payments that were actually declined and don't realised until I go to put through the next transaction and it shows that the last was declined.  A simple audible tone to approve or decline would be great. Thanks.

The same thing happens with the Square register.

More audio allerts would be great for opperator to see a declined transaction.

Thank you both for waiting while I received more information from my team.

I can confirm that we're actively working on implementing network sensory branding (sound notifications) for credit card payments in Australia. While I can't provide a specific timeline for the official launch, rest assured that significant progress is being made behind the scenes to introduce this feature for various card types and markets beyond the US, where it's currently available for Mastercard payments on select devices.

Once we have more news to share, there will be a public announcement made via the Seller Community platform.
