Terminal Printer

Hi, I have a Square Stand and a terminal connect to it. I can take a payment using the terminal but when I try to print a reciept the message on the Square Stand shows "terminal must be on idle screen".

 

The terminal just shows a black powered by square screen..

 

Can someone tell me what we are doing wrong please?

Hi @CoffeeCorner123, thanks for posting !

 

If your Terminal is connected to the iPad on your Stand, you have to initiate the payments on the SPOS directly.

 

Quick question, do you have Team permissions set up on your Square account and your Point of Sale? After doing some research on my end, I was able to find a similar query, and it looks like this is related to permission settings.

 

To ensure you and your employees can print a receipt without having full access, you will need to allow "Customers" in the permission settings. You can do so from your Dashboard in Team > Permissions > Team > Customers > toggle it on (Grant access to create, edit and delete customer data). This is the permission that controls the receipt to be printed.

Can you try this and let me know if this fixes the issue ?
