For a while now we have been rarely able to read chase cards when tapped. I've see threads regarding metal cards and and chase chips but neither apply here. This issue for us extends to both plastic, metal, debit, and credit. For apple pay, it takes noticeably longer when phone is unlocked and customers sometimes need to switch to a different card digitally. They do work fine in Google and Samsung pay. For physical cards, they rarely work from either sides and different approaches. Customers will have to swipe or insert nearly all the time for which we have not had issues with processing. We have not noted any difference in behavior from metal cards vs plastic as our Amex customers are not affected. Anyone else with a similar issue of a particular bank being hard to accept?
