Take payment for a product with USD fixed price when my account is in the uK?

Hi, I'm new to Square and need to find out how to set up my account to take payments for products that are priced for fixed USD amounts, when my account is in the UK? I can only see an option to enter a payment amount in GBP?

Hey @HerWealthyPathw - if you have a UK square account then it can only be used in the UK to take payments in the local currency. 

Just gonna tag @Summer2024 as I remember there being a beta talk about this a year or two ago but nothing seemed to come of it. Is that right?

That is correct, @Sam_400º. Currently, you can only take payments in the currency that is for the locale you signed up under. I will check with the payments team and see if this is in the pipeline, but I'm not sure and can't make any promises.
