Subscription status

I have a small business that offers a yearly subscription that does not automatically renew (I hate that myself so I don't do it to my customers). I'm just now coming up to having my first customers come up on their yearly expiration. When I go in to look at my subscriptions, someone who has passed their one-year mark still says "Active." I would think that once past the one-year mark it would change to "Expired" or "Not Active." This is going to make it difficult for me to see at a glance who I need to follow-up with to see if they want to renew. Is there a better way to do this?

Hi @Jon_Hanson - I see this is your first post in the Seller Community so I'd like to officially welcome you! 🎉👏

I reached out to the Subscriptions Product Team and here's what they let me know:

"Subscriptions that are fixed term stay as ACTIVE but stop billing when the expiration date comes. We are aware that this does not really reflect the correct state and an EXPIRED state would be useful for Sellers. It is on our radar but we did not plan for this work yet.

As a workaround in this specific situation, the Seller can export their subscriptions from the Subscriptions dashboard (see the image below) and can see which subscriptions were created a year ago since we have the start date in the exported data. It is not the best solution but it might help."

I hope this information is helpful but please do let me know if you have any additional questions.
