Stock amount not working. Has always worked before, just not this week. Anyone Else?

I sell electronic tickets to my painting events.   I always put the number of tickets I have available when I set up each event.  I am entering the number and creating my event and then when I go to check it, it keeps showing zero or just the dash line.  I check it in on the items tab.   All of my past events show the quantity left etc... just not ones made this past week.   Is there a glitch happening right now??

Hey!  Thanks for reaching out.. and I'm sorry to hear about the ticket numbers not showing up. Are people able to actually purchase tickets for the event and just not see the total number of tickets?

Yes they can buy tickets.  But there is no limit and I have always been able to enter my stock amount available while creating my event.  It has changed and I can't do it that now.

This is happening to me too! Just started about a week ago. I’d like to know the solution please!

Customers can still buy tickets, but no stock number is showing in the edit window for the event. I need to be certain that I don’t oversell tickets for these events!

I haven't heard of this error before. Perhaps @Channi can weigh in with whatever solution they found.

I had to call to find a solution.  For some reason you can't do it the old way anymore.   I was panicking because people were buying tickets and I could get the limit to stay where I put it.   I was told to go to your Item list, click on the item, then you go down to the price and inventory section of the item you clicked.  You then have to click on the stock number and if it won't let you, slide over the tracking button, It will then take you to the Edit Variation screen.  Click the blue arrow on the right next to Stock Action - select reason.  Then you click inventory recount.  Finally you can add your correct amount of tickets available.   It's a huge long process but is the only way you can do it now.  I wish it would just be like it was before and you enter the stock amount while creating your event.
