Stand not ready

I am changing from Reader to square stand. It connects and the lights flash. I have updated both IOS and POS App but it tells me I need to update POS app and then says Stand not ready.  I then deleted the app and downloaded it again but get the same problem.  I would really appreciate your help.

Sorry to hear you're having trouble getting your Stand working!

 

Can you let us know:

- Which version Stand you're using?

- Which model iPad? It should have a number on the back.

- What version of iOS is installed on the iPad?

- Which version of the Point of Sale app is installed on the iPad?
