Square won't let me verify charity organisation to take card payments

Hello,

We are based in the UK.

I am trying to verify our charity to accept card payments.  Square gives you three options: 'individual / sole trader', 'company', or 'general partnership'.  By process of elimination, I selected company.

It forces me to enter our company registration number, so I first entered our charity number 1160494, which it rejected and said it needed a valid CRN number.  So I went on Companies House and copied the company number it says, which is CE002662.  Square still says this is invalid.

We have already created an entire restaurant menu on Square, bought a Square reader and Star cash drawer.  Verifying our charity is the only thing left to do and would appreciate help.

Were you able to get this issue resolved? I see you posted this a while ago so sorry for the delay. 

Generally, it's best to call our support team directly for issues like this, but from what I remember, you will need to choose General Partnership and you will then be prompted to enter your Charity Registration number.
