Square terminal auth slip prints automatically

Why can't we have settings to print the auth slip automatically when we process a payment?  

We have the Square stand (with the iPad), and as soon as the transaction goes thru, it prints the auth slip, then the receipt screens asks if we want to print/email/text the receipt.

 

It seems to be the opposite on the Square Terminal which is so frustrating.  After the transaction goes thru, the receipt screen comes up to ask if we want to text/email/print the receipt.  Then the next screen says hand the device back to the merchant, and you have to click on the Print Receipt button, in order to bing up the auth slip print screen, then click on the Print Auth Slip in order to get the auth slip printed.  

 

I called Square support today and they agree this is a problem for me but can't do nothing about it and asked me to check with Seller Community????

 

I just want it to work like the Square Stand, after I charge the card, the auth slip prints automatically, and then present me the option to print the receipt.

Hey @hieumnguyen. Really sorry for the delay on getting you an answer!

 

I checked in with our Hardware Team to see if receipts can print automatically on the Terminal. At this time, we don't have that function. Really sorry for the frustration this causes. I will make sure to pass this along to our Product Team. 

 

If this ever becomes available with the Terminal, we'll be sure to post an update here.
