Square plugin clearing content on product listings?

I have a Wordpress website integrated with Square. Every so often the text and videos for one or more of my products just disappears. There's nothing in the Activity Log to show any edits happening within Wordpress. I have someone helping me with my website as this is mostly outside of my skill set. He says that the Square plugin is the only one that has permission to make changes to my content. It seems possible that as it is making changes to stock/prices etc, it loads the whole page and then saves it. This is an automated process and if it doesn't wait for all the page content to load before it saves, then stuff could get missed. Is this a known problem? Does the plugin write to those files?

I did send an email request for help but never heard back.

Thanks for flagging this @Roxy222uk, it does sound like something’s not working as intended here.

While we do integrate with WordPress, it’s WordPress themselves who manage the integration.

As we don’t have direct access to their back-end systems to identify any potential issue with the information being pulled from your Square Dashboard, I’d recommend that you reach out to their team directly via their Contact Page. You can also take a look at their support guides, here.

If for some reason WordPress are not able to help you, please request a ticket number from WordPress Support, and pass this along to our Customer Success team. This will allow our engineers to work with their engineers on finding a resolution.
