Brand new Square handheld only has developer options out of the box, was with tech support for over an hour with zero help, wanted videos of the unit so the tech team could try and diagnose
It was not imaged with the Square app when built, does anyone know a back door to download the app?
I use these terminals for a week during firework sales, that starts tomorow. Don't have much time for a fix

I have never heard of a Square Terminal, or any Square device, that had some other software installed on it so that you couldn't have the regular Square app installed.
I would start with a factory reset. To perform a factory reset of a Square terminal
Press and hold the power button for approximately 10 seconds until a black screen with a countdown timer appears, and continue holding the power button until the timer reaches 0 and the screen indicates you can release the button.
Are you able to post a few pics of the login screen or whatever you are seeing? I'm sure this is why they wanted videos to understand what you were seeing.
