Square Deactivated my Account. How to appeal?

In my businesses websites, I run processing for both business through Square and have for many years. One of the website sells CBD products that are Federally legal with under .3% THC. Had a request from Square to send in COA's, which I submitted and all show perfectly legal.

Square’s CBD Program states: Generally speaking, sellers in the program can accept payments and carry items that meet the following requirements:

* Hemp and hemp-derived CBD products that have less than 0.3% THC in all states excluding Idaho and South Dakota. Payment acceptance is for the US only at this time.
* No marijuana or marijuana derived products; products that contain more than 0.3% THC, illegal drugs and products that otherwise violate Square’s Payment Terms.
* No hemp flower.
* Included items cannot make health claims.

I see nowhere I am in violation for either of my businesses, and my account is pending deactivation. I need help to appeal this decision. Can anyone help?

Hi Carinl,

Unfortunately the Community is not Customer Support nor Tech Support.  Sadly, I'm sure that no one here can really help as you need to work with (I'm assuming) Square's Customer Support Direct.  There is an FAQ here and you may have already perused through this info.

Well...i just go in a loop. I was messaging with square support, and they could only confirm that they did send me that email that I was going to be deactivated, and then said: "This email will have full details (which it does not - only states that I violated Section 3 terms) about the status of your account. The Support Team does not have more insight into your account so I will not be able to provide any additional information". DEAD END

Then, I tried calling support. When I did call, the loop sent me back to support messaging. So...this is one big loop without being able to get any information or speak with any one. This is ludacris. Guess I'll have to make a complaint to FCC about this if I can't get it resolved.

Hey there, we just experienced the exact same thing but didn’t even get anything that pointed to a section we violated. It also basically says I have no recourse. Were you ever able to figure anything out as far as speaking to someone beyond the phone answerer people? Did you make a complaint anywhere?
