I’ve just started using square for retail and notice that receipts are printed with a barcode for ease of returns (such a handy feature!)
unfortunately the barcodes don’t scan in the app as it is to squished together - my receipt printer is Mc-print 2 so presumably it’s because the till roll is smaller than standard.
is there a way to change the size of the barcode printed?

Did you purchase your printer from our website or somewhere else?
I'm trying to get the exact model of the printer to check.
If it was available on our website then it should be compatible with the Square for Retail receipts. I'm trying to locate the exact dimensions required but may need to reach out to our Retail team directly.
If you could confirm and also let me know if there's any other model listed on the printer other than mc-print2 it would be helpful. Thank you, I'll keep an eye out for your response!

Thanks for the screenshot. Do you happen to also have the wrapper, or receipt for the paper roll you are using? I'm also looking into this for you, but I'm coming across conflicting information for the correct paper roll size. Do you have the 58mm or 80mm, or a different size?
I’ve just checked and the roll size is 58mm.
The 80mm fits the McPrint3 which we don’t have.
Any updates regarding a fix for this yet?
