I’m having issues with my current eftpos provider and have been told I can do a quick setup using square but upon doing so the information says I can take up to 2 weeks to have my details verified and I can’t connect a reader without this. Is there a way to use this and take payments ASAP?

Thanks for getting in touch and sorry to hear you're having trouble getting started!
If you're signing up to Square as a Trust please note that at the moment you're looking at at 2-4 week onboarding time frame to get up and running to take card payments.
Because we're required under finance regulations to perform additional checks and ID verifications for Trusts, these applications need to be manually reviewed by our team and are done so in the order they arrive, to keep things fair for everyone. The processing time here does depend on how many applications we have to process at any given time, at the moment we're seeing a lot of applications from Trust based ABNs right now due to the recent issues Tyro has had, and processing times have increased as a result.
We do apologise for the delay, please keep an eye on your email for the next steps.
I also need to start accepting payments ASAP.
Anyway we can get an urgent process for this? Our business needs it in the 4 business days!

We don't have a way to expedite the onboarding process via this forum. Our support team can check that you've uploaded your trust details in the right spot to make sure your application is processed as quickly as possible.
