Hi there. I have a Square website, (which I love, having switched over from Squarespace), with a blog and various other pages. I also have a Square shop.
When my customers click on the Shop tab in the website navigation menu, they are taken to the shop where they see the shop categories menu on the left and all items displayed on the main page.
Is it possible to add a shop landing page so that they don't immediately see every item displayed?
I would like to be able to feature a few items each month on a shop landing page to tempt folk but then for them to access the rest of the items using the left hand navigation menu. I would of course make sure there is an 'All Items' category for those that want everything displayed.
Thanks in advance,
Janet.
Hi @-Serendipity- welcome to the Seller Community 🙂
I'm happy to hear you are happy with Square and your new site!
Could you post a link to your site here? Once I see it it will help me work out what would work best here.
It may be that switching the template would work here.. or we may just want to do some general rearranging.
I'll keep an eye out for your response.
Hi Alegra,
Sorry I'm late with my reply, we've been out on the road for a week in an area of Wales with virtually no signal!
My website can be found at www.theserendipityjourney.com
The shop is just one aspect of my site and I have got everything else working as I want it. It's just the shop I would like to tweak a bit if it's possible.
Thanks in advance,
Indy.
Hi @-Serendipity- , sorry for the delayed response and thank you for the info.
I had a look within the site editor and while there are ways to add landing pages to your site, adding one to a specific page seems to not be possible, unfortunately.
The closest I could get to it was to add a bank banner to the page, but that just sits on top of your items, unfortunately.
Here's how it looked for me and apologies that I couldn't assist more here.
