Shared/team passcode for restaurant pos on square register

i've attempted to follow all of the articles and advice recommended in this forum and can't seem to find a way to have a shared passcode that the team can use at our square Register (we're using restaurant POS, via a square register).

A Passcode is for an individual to track time or to log in to a Square POS device.  What you could do is create a generic Team Member.  Like Team Member (Name of Store), give employees the passcode to log in to take transcations.

The other alternative is create a Device Code which connects that Device to your Square account.  Each employee would still have to enter their own Passcode to take a payment.

The problem with a Generic Passcode is if someone leaves the business and can still access your POS with the generic passcode.

You can set a team passcode directly from Square point of sale. You can create a team passcode for team members using a shared point of sale and select what you’d like to grant access to. Furthermore, you can edit the passcode by tapping on the passcode and entering a new one.
