Service Company help needed

I added my service company to my square set up and put them under services library and now I have no products to sell.

I thought I needed to go that route since I sell subscriptions.  Can anyone tell me what the difference is between services and items?

No items really fit my descriptions.

Also, I am wondering if I can export the services library to my items so I don't have to go through the tedious process again.

Your Services will be listed here in your Service Library on your Square Dashboard. Services are intangible and cannot be physically possessed. They typically involve performing activities or duties for someone else and can be scheduled. You can add details about the services you offer, such as price and duration. Items are tangible objects, which usually require stock and inventory management. When creating an item, you can choose from the following item types: physical goods, event, digital, and other.

I took a look in the Service Library and I do not see an option to export Services to a CSV, as you can for Items. 

You may be interested in Subscription Plans as well. You can make your items subscribable, enabling buyers to automatically order them on a recurring basis. You can create item subscriptions, manage subscription plans, and add new customers to subscriptions all in one place.
