Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra failed to validate device for NFC payments

Hello,

  So I have never been able to get my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra to accept NFC payments. 

I have enabled NFC both on my phone and in the app.

I have Uninstalled, reinstalled the square app. 

I updated the app.  

I have force quit the app.

I have Turned on Developer options and turned them off.

I have restarted my phone.

 

  Using the plugin card swipe reader, I can accept payments.

 

My phone will, on its own, read a credit card and give me a long number when the app is not active, so the NFC works.  However in the app, it Always says, Failed to validate device and failed to connect to square with the NFC.

 

  As I have done every single step, multiple times, for months, any solutions beyond the basic ones would be helpful.  Such as a setting IN developer options that needs to be changed?  Some rare or random conflict with a specific program?

 

  I would like this to work, but I am at my last try here before giving up on square.
