Reporting what I think is a bug with the Sales Trends reports this morning. It just cropped up today and I think it might have to do with being close to the end of the month, maybe? I use this report every day so I would have seen it before now if it had happened, I think. Anyway…
See screen shots below. I’ve noted the bug which seems to be with the preset that calculates the comparison periods. I noted what I expected, and what had been happening until today. For now, I have a workaround by just using the Custom feature and forcing the comparison period. So just reporting this for investigation.
Thanks!
I'm seeing this same bug and like you would have noticed it sooner than now so it's definitely something that has just started to happen.
Hey @TheRealChipA @alexandriak, thanks for bringing this to my attention.
I tested this and experienced the same thing. I have escalated this to be investigated further.
I will reach out when I have an update. Thank you for your patience!
@MayaP Here’s some more weirdness with the Sales Trends report I just noticed, and that just started as we near the end of May. I’m attaching another screen shot of my graph for Last 52 weeks vs Prior 52 weeks. You’ll note that when I touched on July, I was expecting to see July 2023 sales compared to July 2022 sales. Instead the graph is showing July 2023 vs. August 2022. I’m not including other screen shots, but trust me when I say that all months are comparing to incorrect prior months — June is compared to July, etc.
sales trends seems like it has some issues that flair up from time to time. I know last year there were issues even loading the data it said was there.
hopefully they get it figured out.
Hi there, All 👋 @MayaP is out of the office, but I do see that her request to the team was looked at today. They agree this appears to be buggy, and have filed a ticket with the engineers. We'll make sure to update the thread as we receive new information.
Thanks again for reporting, @TheRealChipA
