Hi

Seems like a simple question - cant quite figure it out

I want a simple report that lists each invoice transaction separately and gives a total sales figure for a month.... please can someone advise how I can run/create it

Thanks

Jeremy

Hi, @jhgreene ! Welcome to the Square Community! We are glad to have you here!

To get a simple report listing each invoice transaction separately, along with a total sales figure for the month, you’ll want to use Square’s Invoices and Sales reports in your Dashboard:

  1. Log in to your Square Dashboard.

  2. Go to Reports > Sales Summary. This will show you total sales for any date range you select.

  3. If you want each invoice listed individually, go to Invoices > Invoices in the Dashboard menu. There you can filter by date range (for example, the whole month) and export the list as a CSV file.

  4. The exported file will show each invoice as a separate line, including details like invoice number, customer name, amount, and status.

  5. You can open this file in Excel or Google Sheets, and you’ll see your full list of invoices for that period. You can also easily total them up if needed.

I hope this is what you were looking for! If not, let me know and I can try to assist further 😄
