Retail and wholesale pricing

I currently sell my soaps and lotions both online and at craft fairs. Right now, since the prices are the same, this is no problem. We started doing wholesale orders, some of them large. I would like to do invoices for the wholesale, but the wholesale prices are different than retail and don't have tax. How can I set up wholesale prices (e.g. A large lotion online is $14. My wholesale price will be approximately half of that, but can vary depending on the buyer.) so they don't show on my retail website or in my POS. Also is there or will there be in the future a way to type in the item name, have it come up from my inventory, then edit the price to a wholesale price and still have the items be taken from my overall inventory? Being able to edit the prices on the inventory, but still have it subtracted from my inventory would be a dream. Also being able to mark it as wholesale so in my reports and stats pages I could look and see my POS, website, and wholesale purchase both together and separate.

one way is to have a priced item have multiple price points, one of them being variable priced.  So you would have your retail price and the variable price that you can click on and then type the price.  this will use the same inventory.  You would have to turn the tax off manually though.

I do it differently and have a whole separate location and items for my wholesale as I want to keep funds separate and for tax purposes as none of the wholesale items have tax. Now that would be an issue if you are tracking inventory, which I am not.  I don't like my wholesale and retail mixed on my reports as you aren't getting a good picture of what either one is doing as a $5,000 wholesale order makes your really bad retail day look good so I highly recommend keeping them separate locations.
