Remove/revert options back to drop down

Good Afternoon

As mentions in another thread, and after ringing square for help the "Text and Colour" option doesn't work.
How do I remove the options without deleting all the names and stock count?
It would be hard to remove these and start again, also i need to revert to a drop down box for colour choice.

Hey @StreetFame,

 

I don't think there's actually a way to automatically revert changes made via Square Online - I do believe you'd need to make manual changes to your items.

 

The issue you're referring to is familiar to me, but are you able to link the other thread at all so I can get some more context? From memory I don't think this is a field that will appear as editable when you export your item library via Square, as it's a Square Online unique feature. Happy to take a further look though to confirm one way or another!

Hope that helps. As mentioned the text and colour options seems not to be available from what the helpdesk said even though I've seen it on the tutorial videos.

Now I'm just trying to revert back to drop-down box and go back to normal without losing all my stock.

@StreetFame You'll need to go to Items > Options then for the option set in question press the "..." button then "Edit". You should be able to switch to t dropdown then press "save":

@StreetFame Sorry to hear this isn't working! I recommend getting in touch with support for further help - if it's a bug they will be able to file a ticket for our engineering team to investigate further, this certainly doesn't appear to be working the way it should

1. Sign in to your Square account

2. Head to our contact page https://squareup.com/help/au/en/contact

3. Go to "Other" then "I don't see my issue"

I've done that multiple times, it doesn't work. I can live for you later tonight and it won't revert back. Even saved it and republished the site. Won't revert back
