As the title says, I'm trying to figure out if it's possible to remove unwanted fields from the customer display of the square register when adding a new customer in person. I don't want to ask them where they work ? or there date of birth either.
Even though I have disabled these question in the back office software they still appear on the screen on the square register in store! No-one likes filling in forms they want things done quickly and these 2 questions are not needed. It really puts me of using it as a feature so I tend not to mention it as a customer finds it of putting!
How can I stop them displaying on the square register customer display in store even though my setting says I have.

Great question! You mentioned you made some edits in your back office, so I want to venture to guess it was on another device besides your Register.
If so, you will need to log out and back into the Register to see those changes. Whenever you make changes on different devices, you will have to do this to update.

yes your correct I did the changes on my MacBook online as I couldn’t find that option on the register itself.

I am afraid it did not work and both those questions still appeared on the register. I signed out on the register and signed back in but it did not make a difference sorry.
Any other ideas how to get rid of those 2 questions ? for the customer sign up on the register in store ?

Any more ideas on how to get rid of these question when joining up a customer ? everything I have tried does not appear to be working. I still have them deleted in the back software, I signed out and back in on the register and there still showing when going to add a customer. thanks ☺️
