Regular Invoice

I just found out I shouldn’t be sending tax invoices if I’m not registered for tax invoices, which is something I’ve been doing this whole time! How do I change the invoice so it’s a regular one and not saying tax invoice? Need to know asap or I will have to change invoicing systems

Hey there @Xian1,

Welcome to the Seller Community, I'd be happy to provide more information here!

Tax is displayed on your Square Invoices based on your current Sales Tax settings and whether you customize your line items when adding them to your invoice.

You can disable any active Sales Taxes that aren't required by navigating from your online Square Dashboard to Account & Settings > Business Information > Sales Taxes. Ensure you have disabled any Sales Taxes that aren't required.

Please note: if you see your Sales Tax has the option to 'Include in item priced' selected already, then if tax is included, the tax will appear in your reports, but your customers will not see the tax on their receipt.

Additionally, when you are adding a line item to your invoice, you can select the option to Customize the item. This will bring up a separate window, allowing you to add/remove discounts and taxes as required.

Let me know how you go with these steps on your end, and whether you have any further questions here.
