Recategorize Sales

I ran the category sales report and see that I have quite a few sales that are 'uncategorized'. This makes sense as they are from invoices and I was adding line items individually every time rather than having created the items first, assigning them to a category, etc.

Long story short, is there a way to go back and re categorize those items now if i have created a category for them?

Unfortunately, no. Once an invoice is paid in full it can't be opened up again. Your best bet is to keep track of the uncategorized sales and their new categories manually. When you enter the sales into your accounting software of choice you can make the necessary adjustments there.
