Hi @Wrpartytreats. There are various accounting apps that are in Square’s App Marketplace. Go there and search for “bookkeeping.” You’ll find apps list Xero, Zoho and Quickbooks Online. You’ll want to do some research. Some — like Xero and Quickbooks — automatically import your Square transactions and Square sales and create sales entries. Others — like Zoho and Fresh Books — do not, so you’d have to manually enter your sales numbers.
As I am a person who does not like anything automatically putting entries into my accounting software, I use Zoho because I love it. Anyway, all of these a full-featured accounting systems that also have reports like the P&L, Balance Sheet, etc.
Square does not have all the information necessary for a complete and proper P&L or other accounting reports.. It doesn’t have access to your complete expense history (utilities, supply purchases, etc), so there is no way that Square (or any app) could produce these.
