Hi Square Developer Support,
We are preparing our Caffè Sabrina iOS app for production payments using Square.
The Square integration works correctly in Sandbox, but when switching to Production, token generation fails with:
invalid_application_id
Production Application ID:

L9TQB99P87QPN
The Production Application ID has been copied directly from our Square Developer Console.
The failure occurs during token generation, before our backend payment request is made. Consequently, we are not seeing a corresponding Payments API request in Square API Logs.
Could you please check whether this Production application is correctly enabled/configured for In-App Payments token generation and whether there is an account/application configuration issue on Square's side?
Sandbox token generation is working correctly; the problem occurs only in Production.
We can provide screenshots, SDK version, bundle ID and additional diagnostic information if required.

100% head on over to the developer forums - you wil get a much better answer and knowledge base for an issue like this. I am not a professional developer but something in your token is not making it to the api endpoint for authorization, I would add some debug code around the actions triggering this specific issue. https://developer.squareup.com/forums
