Possible Suspension

I'm getting a second request from square asking me to answer questions or else my account will stop being able to process payments.

 

I am a retail pharmacy with a physical location where we sell over-the-counter goods and also fill prescriptions

 

My first question set was done and reviewed and approved saying everything was fine.  I just got another request saying that I have not complied with Square's request to cease conducting illegal activities.

 

I am not an internet/mail order/or telephone pharmacy.

 

The problem is if I click "YES" then I am admitting that I am doing something illegal and saying I will stop doing it.  But i am not doing anything illegal in the first place.

 

I call support, but they just tell me to answer the questions

 

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Since you did not put the question in that they want you to answer Yes to since you are not doing anything illegal, I would suggest calling Square Support.  I know they will tell you just answer the Questions.  Ask for a supervisor or manager and see if they can help you.  No one here in this forum will be able to see in you account or help you with this besides telling you to call support too.  Now if you have an account manager you might be able to call them instead of support to help you. The other option might be you need to have a different CC processor that understands the difference between selling Leagal and Illegal drugs with perscriptions.  I know I asked about using Square to process Insurance Policies as my wife and I like Square for our Candle Business, and she is helping her sister expand the insurance business.  Found out Square will not allow Insurance policy payments, goes against their policies.  We now have 2 different credit card processors for our 2 different businesses.  The one we use for insurance has no POS and is only through billing and computers so we can not use them for retail.  Rules are rules I guess.  I do hope you get this sorted out!

I will echo what @Candlestore suggests, and recommend reaching out to support. We have limited access to accounts through this page, and because of this I am unable to confirm the exact nature of the hold. 

 

Typically, a flag for internet/mail order/or telephone pharmacy, would have to do with accepting payments while the physical card is not present. This is general information, though, and I'm not able to confirm if it is the exact reason you are experiencing.
