Please help with mistake re domain

Hi I really really need some help please 

 

I am new here...

 

Tonight I purchased a new domain name and then tried to link it to square which it did successfully but then I didn't have SSL and I didn't know I needed it.

 

So I want to just revert back to my original Square site for now until I sort that out but don't know how.

 

I need to do this urgently and hoping for some help please please! 

 

I just launched a new product and people want to purchase it but it won't let them because of this 😭😭😭

 

Really appreciate any help in advance.

 

Domain is www.magmamelts.co.uk

Square site is www.magmameltsbysophie.square.site

Hey @SophieC93 - just clicked on your links & it took me to a fully working version with the .square.site domain, so guess you've got *something* all up & running again?

When you link your domain the SSL etc. are all automated, but they do take time for it all to process & confirm. If you re-link your domain when you're a little quieter (from my experience it takes about a day to all go though, but not sure what the official line is) then I'm guessing it won't cause as much of an issue?

@SophieC93 - sorry, my bad! I saw that your SSL & little padlock was all good but hadn't actually clicked on a product! 

If you go back into your online dash, then settings; checkout - make sure your 'switched on' 👍🏻

Yes I managed (with some family help) to get "something" sorted so it was back up...and then OMG can't beieve I forgot to turn on my accepting orders - what a nightmare! haha I've now turned that back on...silly me

 

Appreciate the information you have shared I will try that out next week (during the day so I can phone square if I need help 🙂
