Performance Issue: Delayed Transfers sent on 30 May

The title of this thread has been edited from the original: Payouts not happened!

 

Has anyone not received there payout from over the weekend? 

Normally hits my account just after the pay out email. 

and tonight nothing! I have two businesses and both are same hence wondering if it’s all???

Hi everyone, just looping back to this thread with a final update to let you know that our engineering team has worked to implement a fix and all of your bank accounts are now relinked successfully.

 

I can also confirm that there is no further action needed on your side. Transfers have been sent to your linked bank account this morning, Tuesday 31 May.

  • If you have default automatic transfers set up on your account, funds are sent with Faster Payments and can take up to two hours to reflect in your account balance. The transfers you received this morning will include payments taken between Friday 27 May and close of business Monday 30 May.
  • If you have set a custom close of day for your automatic transfers, transfers have been sent out this morning which will include payments taken between Friday 27 May and 10.59 am Tuesday 31 May. It can take up to two hours for the funds to reflect in your account balance.
  • If you have manual transfers set up on your account, you can initiate transfer from your Square Dashboard or within your Square Point of Sale app. Please note that funds are sent within 24 hours of transfers being initiated.

You can check what payments have been sent by viewing the Transfer Reports on your Square Dashboard.

We take situations like this very seriously and after further investigation, Square has identified and will implement technical improvements and process changes that will assist in mitigating the risk of the same issue occurring again.

yes totally, but instead of that I have had an email just now telling me I need to re-link my bank account?? I am not trusting this at all.

I’d not re-link if I were you…. Wait for Square to sort it out.

 

Mine shows blank in the app until I click through then I can see details as normal.

i have had to reset my bank details as it was showing no bank account details. its pay day for my staff as well. Not happy

 had 1 e-mail saying the transfer failed and to check my bank details. I don't think i will be doing anything an automated e-mail tells me to

Today after. whole year Square couldn't progress my payments and an email was sent saying that I needed to relink the bank account as a problem occurred. Initially I thought it was the usual scam email but the I checked the account and my bank account did indeed disappear. Has anyone experienced such issue at all? I need to wait 7 days ok fine but it feel now a bit concerned that a bank account can disappear out of the blue.

Hi i have just had the same it says it wont be linked until 7th june on mine now, i am not sure whats going on, i have 2 accounts with them and this has happened on both, i didnt click the link as i was worried about it being scam and when i checked account my bank has gone so i re added and now it says june the 7th i am worried also as i have wages to pay tomorrow.

Very annoying and concerning. We have another business using another provider. In 5 years nothing of this sort has ever happened. I believe my time with Square has come to the end.

I use Shopify POS for another business. Never had an issue. We will switch to Natwest Tyl with this one. They made us a really good offer

i have just read at the top of page they have an issue on payment transferring and are working on this, its at the top in mustard colour. if you click link it says whats happening.

Yes I did. I am ok with transfer issues. What is really concerning at least me is that the bank account disappeared from my account and an email was sent out of the blue asking to relink my bank account. This is unacceptable and very risky.

Yes, Square are aware.

Poor customer relations though, and lack of updates is leaving a lot of us feeling unsure about staying with Square.

I experienced the same thing tonight, with 3 transfers "rejected" into an account that I've been using for years. No explanatory email from Square - and was forced to relink my account. Not impressed.

I've received a notification that transfer of funds to my bank account has failed. I've had to set up my bank account again and it is saying that verification won't complete until 7th June! My bank details have not changed and I have regular rent and other payments due tomorrow.  This is not acceptable.  Anyone else have a similar issue or can advise?
