I have used the "Link Instantly (Recommended)" button to link our bank account for for Payroll withdrawals. I choose my bank, login to our bank via the popup window. Next, I choose the account I want to withdraw from. My bank sends me a notice via email saying we have linked with Square/Plaid.
I'm using the link at:
https://squareup.com/payroll/employer/settings/bank-account
However, on the page at: https://squareup.com/payroll/employer/home the green check box never appears next to "Link bank account
