Payment through Laptop

We have recently got square appointments to use in our Salon. At the moment we have a Square Reader however wanted to try the Square Terminal. Instead of the client using our phones to enter pin we were wanting to finish our payment after an appointment on the laptop and it sync to the terminal? Is this possible?

Hi @CiCisBL, thanks for your post!

At the moment, Square Appointment is not available on the Terminal. As such, if you'd like to take payments with the Terminal, you'd need to enter it as a separate transaction on the Terminal itself. There isn't a way to push transactions from your Dashboard to the Terminal right now as well, but I think our team are currently testing out a few different features that are similar to this. 

Is there an extra tablet or device available on the premise by any chance? If there is, you could use that device to take payments instead so customers won't need to enter pin using your phones.
