With connection issues, there are a few standard troubleshooting steps that should resolve most issues. Could you please try the following:
1. Restart your modem/router, then test its connectivity by plugging in another device (such as a laptop) to see if it connects.
2. Try an alternative Ethernet cable, or test that the cable you're using functions as expected with another device.
3. Try an alternative Ethernet port on your modem or router.
If you continue to see the connection error, please also check that your device software is up-to-date from: More > Settings > Hardware > General > About.
If the device is up-to-date or the issues persist after updating, could you please let me know which device it is that you’re having trouble with? Is it the Square Terminal for example?
