Hi - hoping for some help.
I have some items for sale in a local cafe which has prices and qr codes attached to each. I just received a call from the cafe to say that a customer had paid for an item via the code and showed them the payment receipt.
However I haven’t received a notification and the payment hasn’t appeared in my square account as it normally does. Is there sometimes a delay between scanning/paying and the transaction actually going through?
I am bit concerned that I’ve lost an item that wasn’t paid for correctly. It’s been about half an hour.

However, you're probably best to touch base with our Support Team directly for assistance here so they can review the payment history on your Square Account.
As a general rule of thumb, all payments are instant and you will see a successful payment reflected on the Transactions page either on your app or via your online Square Dashboard. If you are not seeing a payment, it has most likely not been successfully captured.
Out of interest, did you create checkout links for each item and shared via QR code, or have you created a full Square Online site where you have set up self-serve ordering?

1. Sign in to your Square account
2. Head to our contact page https://squ.re/3AWfZs2
3. Go to "Other", then "I don't see my issue"
4. Click "Message us", "Email us" or "Call Us"
