Can I pair a reader to a new tablet when the old tablet is no longer working?

Yes, absolutely 🙂

 

What ties a payment to your business isn't the reader or the physical tablet, but the login you use to sign into the Square Point of Sale app. So you can simply download the app on a new tablet, sign into your Square account and pair the reader to the new tablet.

 

The key thing to remember is that you'll need a tablet tested as compatible with Square.
