Hi!

Welcome 🙂

I own a retail shop that has literally 1000s of items that change non stop. I find square retail to be an excellent way to keep track of inventory. It provide the ability to barcode/label products as well which is very important especially when making sure the right product is rung up at the register.

Thank you for your response. I having a difficult time on how to best set up the square  to cash-out these craft/maker items that are different than my CBD product inventory that remains the same.  I did set up a different "location" to switch between CBD Products and these miscellaneous items. Just not sure how to set up thee miscellaneous sales in the square register.  Not sure if I'm making any sense

lol...yes and no!  We are consigning with a local artist along with some of our own separate handmade crafts. So, essentially two separate businesses, CBD and Essentials and LuLu's Favorite Gifts & More...

if you are using square for retail you can add categories- so you have your CDB category- and then you have all your "craft" items under another category.... not sure why you would have them under different locations.

I'm trying to keep the companies separate in the same store using one register.  My CBD Products consist of different brands, so I have filter each brand in it's own category. It is also set up that way on my online store.
