POS Report Change

We have been using Square POS since October of last year (2021). At the end of the night we print out a sales report that combines all our registers into one report. Tonight it printed out a report for each register separately. Unfortunately we have one iPad that is not attached to a printer so we are unable to print out a report on that device. Has this happened to anyone else? Is this an update to the software? Did the settings change? I am very confused. Overall I like Square POS, but they seem to make changes to the software without any communication and it is very frustrating to have to figure it out on the fly.

@secondlifeatlYou're not the first I've heard this happening to in the last few days. I think that a setting accidentally got switched during one of the updates. Hopefully another update can fix this.

 

For now, when you're on the reports screen, tap on the date at the top of the screen. Make sure you have "All Devices" and "All Team Members" selected. Hopefully the system will remember your selections here going forward.

I tried your solution today, but I am not seeing an option to select "All Devices" and "All Team Members" anywhere. If we are on an iPad we are still getting the combined report, but on the Square Register we are only getting the device report with "All Team Members" as well. This is one of our major frustrations that the Square Register and the App are so different. If we had the ability to print from our iPad it wouldn't be a problem, but I'm not spending money to buy a printer just for printing reports that should be available on the Square Register.

Disregard...I was able to figure it out once I looked on the iPad to see how to make the change. For some reason I never think to swipe down (scroll) on the Square Register. When the calendar option is up if you swipe (scroll) down you will see the other options.
