I am not able to post sales with other payment types in square POS. Does anyone know how to fix it?

You may want to provide some more details in order to get some assistance. Understand that Community is not the same as Customer Support but, there is quite a bit of hands on experience here. Your other option is contact Customer Support direct as they have the ability to look at your Account setup, that's something that cannot be done here.
For the past 2 weeks we have been unable to process any checks or credit card orders (we use a non-integrated credit card processor). I can tender cash, but when we hit "Other" or "Check" I get a spinning thingie, and then it says there was an issue and it couldn't process it. It is stuck in this mode, until I restart the app. Every transaction now needs to be saved as a saved ticket, then the app needs to be force quit, then re-started, and then the transaction ticket recalled- then it processes normally! This is a horrible way to get through the day!

I called Customer Support today, and they told me the engineers are fixing the problem now. But they don't know how long it will take.

Yes, I was able to fix my issue. As it turned out, after I updated my iPad and re-downloaded the app, all of my businesse's registration info was gone (address, phone etc.). Since I am not using Square to process my Credit card transactions, I didn't need to go through this step again- as I didn't require approval and the linking of a bank account or any of that stuff. turns out the app will not work without having the basic info input and current, and deleting/reinstalling things cleared that info- even though I was still able to log into my account and see my stuff.
I'm not sure what started this issue, as my solution was needed because of some of my work to fix it (deleting everything and re-installing) but I was told Engineering was "working"on it too.
At any rate, be sure all of your business info is completed and up to date, and that might help.

Hi Miwero, Thank you so much for your detailed reply. I live in Ecuador and have a small shop here. I never completed my location information because I am not a US citizen and don't have a shop address in the US. However, this has never affected my use of Square's functions until recently. Anyhow, many thanks for your help.
