Online Store: What happens after checkout?

I'm working on my online store and I can't figure out where the customer goes after they make a purchase.

Are they redirect to a confirmation page?

Do I add the confirmation page?

How can I edit the confirmation page?

I've looked everywhere but I can't find anything on the topic.

Hi @thegc.  After completing payment, your customers are shown a receipt, basically the same as a confirmation page.  They also receive an email with the same information.  You don’t need to add a page, but you do have limited settings to edit things like return policy, etc.  Do this at Online -> Shared Settings -> Checkout.

If you want to submit a test order, try this.

  1. First set up a coupon code just for your testing purposes.  I have one that I named “Chip Test” and it applies a 100% discount to the order.
  2. Go to your store and shop like a customer.
  3. Enter your coupon code and submit the order.  You’ll see the “confirmation” screen, as well as receive the same email the customer receives.
  4. Don’t forget to void your transaction afterwards, so that you don’t mess up your inventory and such.
