Non existent variations show as "out of stock", how do I solve this and only show actual variations?

I have items with variations, and when selecting from a drop down menu, item variations that don't exist appear as out of stock. From the example below, the item doesn't have a variation for 1994 transponder chip key but on the front end it shows as out of stock. TIA

Just to confirm, when you look at the item via your Dashboard, is the transporter chip key variation is not assigned to this particular key? I just took a look at your site and was able to select the following:

Thank you for your reply. 

This key has two options, metal key and chip key. Your screenshot is a great example of the problem that I have, from 1990-2003 there is no variation/option for chip key (only metal key variations) but it shows up as out of stock.

I already reached out to customer support, and they were unable to help me solve this. At some point the case forwarded to the cloud team and then I received an email that the case was closed, but no fix was made.
