No names and non-processed orders online

Hello,

 

We're seeing a rise in orders with no names on the ticket coming in from online orders via Square Online Store (Weebly). Looking via the API, its seems that the names are blank spaces for some of them. Seems like it could be an auto complete issue where the fields get overwritten when someone picks a card their browser has saved. Seems like there needs to be an empty string check added to the checkout form.

 

Also, we've had a few people place orders, get to the confirmation screen, but do not get an email and the order is not created. This seems to be related to an issue around inventory - if there are multiple people ordering, and an item sells out while the order is being processed, the order doesn't get create in Square.  Either the order needs to go thru, letting the inventory run to a negative, or the order needs to fully created and validated before showing a customer a confirmation screen. This has lead to some very awkward moments when people come to pick-up their order.

This sounds buggy to me. I ran it by a Weebly specialst, and they agree. It doesn't look like we've had other reports of this happening, but it's worrisome that you're not having orders come through. When you have a moment, can you reach out to the Weebly Support team so they can take a look into this a bit more in depth with you? They can do some troubleshooting to pinpoint where exactly the glitch is happening.
